Fundamentals

NLP foundations

Understanding the key aspects of NLP is essential in building solid foundations to support you and your NLP Toolbox on as it grows and develops. The fundamental concepts of NLP, are taught in this section of the course. We will explore how the mind works on three different levels. You'll learn a set of useful 'guidelines' that you can use to help make sense of the world.

What is reality?

We will investigate and explore how you create your version of reality from all the information that you receive from the outside world and represent it to yourself internally. We'll discuss and explore how your reality is different from somebody else's version of reality.

You'll learn how the NLP Communication model works and how to utilise it to improve the way you communicate with yourself and the outside world.

Beliefs, Values & Identity

Here you will learn what beliefs are, what values are and how they, along with other filters, create your personal identity and sense of self or I. You will discover where beliefs and values come from and understand the difference between them and core values and beliefs

Rapport, building connections & Emotional Intelligence

You'll learn how to build rapport and stronger connections with other people in a way that is natural and yet deliberate. I wonder, what would it be like if you could be on the same wave-length as the other people you were communicating with and the interactions were almost seamless?

You will become skilled at using your senses to pick up non-verbal communication cues and clues from the other people you interact with giving you the opportunity to lead the interaction in a direction that you wish to take it with little or no resistance.

State Management, Frames & Strategies

Present & desired state

Where are you now in life and where do you want to be? NLP is a "Towards" technology and asks the questions now you're here, where do you want to go and how are going to get there? You'll learn the importance of this model and how it can provide a sense of direction.

Create well-formed outcomes and goals

Being able to create clear, well-formed outcomes is an essential skill and you will spend a considerable amount of time learning a powerful model that you can easily apply in all areas of your life to create and set well-formed outcomes and goals. Not only that but you'll learn how to use the “Away from” and “Towards” motivators to keep you on track. You'll discover the importance of asking the question “Why?” and how to leverage the Why into the motivators.

The power of NLP Frames

A frame is sometimes thought of a a lens in which you can look through. Understanding the key NLP frames will help you to structure the boundaries of your communications, giving you the ability to filter out the irrelevant and distracting information.

Strategies (How you do what you do)

In this part of the course, you'll understand that every action is actually a series of much smaller steps that need to be carried out in order to get the expected result. Some people like to compare a strategy to a recipe that a chef may use when cooking. you'll learn how you can elicit the exact sequence of events that somebody follows when doing a specific task. By using this information, you get an understanding or glimpse of inside somebody else's "Model of the world".

Change tools & techniques

NLP is rich in tools and techniques that are specifically designed to cause the desired change to happen. You'll learn most of the core change techniques and tools so that you can get the results that your clients want.

Powerful language models, Time Line techniques

Language in general

You'll learn that language is structured into "surface structure" and "deep structure", understand the difference between them and begin to put them into practise. You'll get to grasp how language itself has a hierarchical structure and some words carry more importance than others. On this part of the course, there are lots of fun language exercises so you can unleash your creativity and experiment with the most powerful language models and tools known.

Meta Model

Learn how to use this powerful language model to help somebody to retrieve the details that are missing during conversations.

Milton Model

By using the Milton Model, you can effectively be "artfully vague" and use language that causes the listener to 'fill in the gaps'.

You'll learn how the NLP Communication model works and how to utilise it to improve the way you communicate with yourself and the outside world.

Metaphors

The use of stories is not just fun but incredibly influential and persuasive. In this section of the course, you'll learn how to craft metaphors and how to tell stories.

Sub-modalities, Advanced Communication & Change techniques

Sub-modalities everywhere

During this significant part of the course, you'll learn that Sub-modalities are the building blocks of all experience. You'll experiment with these and learn how powerful they can be as they are changed.

You will learn that by paying attention to building blocks, you can change the meaning that a client assigns to an experience.

Phobia cure

The phobia cure is a tried and tested way or completely breaking a phobia in a short period of time, leaving the client with no way to have that specific phobia again. You'll learn the process and you will even get to use it in the exercise.

Advanced change tools and techniques

In NLP, there are many different tools, techniques, maps and models and most of them are very easy to use. We'll delve into some of the most useful of them and explain how, by using them, you can change the way you perceive a problematic situation and you'll learn how you can increase the choices that you have so that you can make better decisions from the information that you have available to you.
